Parker Hannifin Industrial Hose Division Updates Several Products
Series 7563 Dynaflex PVC Suction & Discharge Hose - Increased Wall Thickness
Parker Series 7563 now features increased wall thicknesses and a more robust construction. Series 7563 remains a heavy-duty hose that complies with all applicable FDA requirements for food handling. The smooth tube is excellent for transferring powder, pellets, or other dry materials without build-up. The clear PVC construction permits visual observation of materials being conveyed.
This is a running change. New product will be shipped only after current inventory of comparable hose sizes is depleted. There are no changes to part numbers, working pressures, pricing or stock status.
New product specifications can be found by performing a product search for Series 7563.
Series 7243 UL21 LPG Hose - Marking & Branding Change
To enhance the appearance and identification of the product, the cover of the Series 7243 UL 21 LPG hose now incorporates a white dash/spiral stripe. The brand text (also white ink) has been updated to read:
Side One: PARKER 7243 SS CAUTION LP GAS HOSE MH6737 UR ISSUE NO. XXXX 350 PSI MAX WP (MFG/DATE CODE)
Side Two: CAUTION FOR LP GAS USE ONLY 1750 PSI MIN BURST
There is no change to the hose specification, part number or fit, form and function. Dimensions remain nominal as shown in the current Catalog 4800. The updated hose has been tested and qualified to existing crimp specifications (refer to CrimpSource).
The updated hose continues to be listed by UL and meets UL21 requirements.
Series 7200 Hydrocarbon Drain Hose 250 PSI Working Pressure - New Size ID Available
Parker Series 7200 Hydrocarbon Drain hose now available in 1" ID.
Parker Series 7200 Hydrocarbon Drain Hose ia a perfect complement to the impressive array of Parker steam hoses which are frequently used in cleaning applications, such as injecting steam into containment vessels, railcars, and storage tanks. The hot, liquefied residue is then evacuated by Series 7200 Hydrocarbon Drain Hose, which features a high temperature, oil resistant tube and cover to withstand attack by steam and any petroleum based runoff. The vivid blue cover differentiates and identifies the hose for this application. Parker steam hoses and hydrocarbon drain hose are qualified with Parker bite-the-wire crimp couplings, creating complete and validated Parker hose assembly systems.

Parker Hannifin Industrial Hose Division Introduces No-Skive E-Z Crimp Steam Hoses
Steam service is one of the toughest applications for hose; the hot-cold/wet-dry cycling attacks rubber compounds externally as well as internally. Parker Industrial Hose Division expands its steam hose offering with the introduction of Series 7263C Steam-Lance 250 No-Skive E-Z Crimp Steam Hose and Series 7286C Dragon Breath No-Skive E-Z Crimp Premium Steam Hose.
Series 7263C Steam-Lance 250 No-Skive E-Z Crimp Steam Hose
Series 7263C Steam-Lance 250 features a robust tube which resists heat and popcorning, while the durable cover resists abrasion, cracking, hardening, and ozone. To resist these forces, Parker incorporates the same highest quality EPDM compound in the cover as well as the tube in this steam hose.
Product Features:
- For saturated steam applications to 406°F and super-heated steam applications to 450°F at pressures to 250 psi. -Light weight and economical design allows quick and easy assembly fabrication and installation. -Uses permanent bite-the-wire crimp couplings that require neither internal nor external skiving.
Series 7286C Dragon Breath No-Skive E-Z Crimp Premium Steam Hose
Series 7286C Dragon Breath is the longest-lasting steam hose available in the market today. This hose incorporates high-performance chlorobutyl rubber in both the tube and the cover of the hose. Most manufacturers combine a lower-performing EPDM cover with a chlorobutyl tube.
Product Features:
-Provides maximum service life for saturated steam applications to 406°F and super-heated steam applications to 450°F at pressures to 250 psi. -Light weight and economical design allows quick and easy assembly fabrication and installation. -Uses permanent bite-the-wire crimp couplings that require neither internal nor external skiving.
