Common symptoms and solutions for hose assembly failures:

• Expired service life
• Improper hose insertion depth
• Fitting crimp diameter not within required dimensions
• Insertion tube damaged during assembly (field attachable fittings)
• Hose twisted (application routing)
• Hose abrasion

• Hose minimum bend radius exceeded
• Fluid incompatibility
• Hose is kinked or crushed
• Dry air aged
• Excessively high/cold temperatures

FITTING CRIMP

SYMPTOM: Assembly leaks at the hose / fitting connection or fitting blow-off.

CAUSE: Fitting shell was not crimped within the required dimensions.

SOLUTION: Replace hose assembly. Review crimping instructions of crimper being used including the proper tooling. Measure crimp diameters to insure proper dimensions.
